Library inductions and nominated helpers
Personalised library tours and inductions can be arranged by appointment.
You can nominate helpers to borrow materials on your behalf if you cannot come to the Library.
Contact us on Library@roehampton.ac.uk to arrange either of these.
Accessible door entry
You can request ID card access via the accessible doors next to the revolving doors.
Contact us or Disability & Dyslexia Services to arrange this.
Induction Loops
These are located at the Welcome Desk.
Adaptive Furniture
Adjustable desks are available throughout the Library: 1 on the 1st Floor (outside room 1.23), 4 in the Postgraduate study room (1.22) and 2 on the 3rd floor (near AV collection).
Additional Adjustable computer tables are in rooms 1.23 and 2.27. These can be booked on our room booking page. (Due to damage, the desk in 2.27 are currently awaiting repair).
Low level Library catalogue desks are situated on all the Library floors next to Quick Access PCs, near the central staircase.
Printing and Scanning
Coloured paper is provided for printing, next to the ground floor printers.
All printers also serve as scanners, and scanned documents are searchable PDFs as default. There is no charge for scanning.
Scan and Send service: request digital copies of book chapters or articles from our print collections to be emailed to you.
Extra equipment, such as laptops and digital voice recorders, is available for students who are registered with Disabilities and Dyslexia Services (DDS). See our DDS Guide for more details.
