Newspapers and Magazines

You can access a vast range of newspapers and magazines online and free of charge with your Roehampton login – both current and historical content.

These make great sources of information for your assignments, whether you are looking at reports of past events as they happened, or up-to-the-minute coverage of current affairs.

You can use them to identify changing political, economic, linguistic and social trends, by tracking commentary on issues over time; or read reviews of art and culture across the generations. Or even just read about your favourite leisure pursuits in a study break!

Current Newspapers and Magazines

The Library subscribes to a wide range of current newspapers and magazines that you can access free of charge with your Roehampton login. Most can be accessed via the PressReader app, but some titles are individual subscriptions. See below for further details.

British weekly magazine of news and opinion, covering world politics, economics, business, finance, science and technology.
Users will need to create an account to gain access - to do this click 'login' at the top of the page, select ‘register now’ and fill in the form.

Daily news focusing on international business and economics. Also includes company and market data and the FT Digital Edition, a replica of the printed newspaper from different countries. You will need to register for an account using your Roehampton email to gain access (see Additional Info for instructions).

How to register for a Financial Times account:

Click Sign In at the top of the page, enter your Roehampton email address and select the Next button.

Your will see the message: "University of Roehampton has enabled single sign-on. This means you can sign in to your FT account while logged in to your University of Roehampton user account. An FT password is not required."

Select the SSO Sign in button. You will be redirected to the University of Roehampton Login Page. This will prompt you to enter either your Roehampton username or email address and your password.

Complete the registration form. Make sure you use your Roehampton email address. Accept the terms and conditions and select Continue.

Check your Roehampton email account. You will receive a Welcome email from the FT.

Please complete setting up your FT account by creating a password. Select the Set a password button within the email. Create your password and select Submit.

You can now access FT.com using single sign-on. This means you can sign in to your FT account while logged in to your Roehampton user account and you do not have to use an FT password to sign in each time.

Marketing Week offers the latest marketing news, opinion, trends, jobs and challenges facing the marketing industry. Note: You will need to sign up for a personal account using your full Roehampton university email. To set up your account, click ‘register’ and fill out the form to complete your account set up.

The Vogue Archive contains the entire run of US Vogue magazine, from 1892 to the current month, reproduced in images indexed by garment type, designer and brand names.
