The Online Study Tool Kit (OSTK) contains resources for new students as well as returning students and postgraduates. The aim is to assist students in their transition to higher education and throughout their time at university.
There is a collection of workshop and webinar recordings available to view on a variety of topics, as well as interactive tutorials and links to subject specific research and referencing tools. There are also extensive text guides to assist with data analysis using our statistics software -- SPSS.
These 24/7 learning resources provide some excellent tips and tools to help you succeed at university. You can use them if you are struggling and need support. Or you can use them if you are already doing well but want to go up a grade.
The Online Study Tool Kit is divided across multiple categories and can be explored using the left-hand navigation column. There is also a FAQ category for Library queries.
Please Note: We encourage students to visit the Learning Skills Hub (Moodle) where they will find further resources to develop their academic skills. There is a wealth of academic resources divided into five sections: Plan, Research, Read, Write, and Communicate.
