Junior Fiction is aimed at children roughly aged 7 to 12, with age-appropriate themes, language, and adventure, mystery, or family-focused stories. Young Adult (YA) Fiction targets readers aged 12 to 18, often dealing with more mature topics like identity, relationships, mental health, and coming-of-age, while still being suitable for teenage readers.
Junior and young adult fiction can be found in the middle of the School Experience Collection.
The collection is arranged under the shelfmark "JF" followed by the first three letters of the author's surname, e.g. JF PUL.
